Who We Are & Where We Meet

We are a group of weavers, spinners, felters, and dyers. We meet on the fourth Monday of each month with the exception of December. We hold hybrid meetings in-person and on Zoom. The in-person meetings are held at:

What We Offer

We offer free monthly programs after our business meetings. Several times a year, we offer classes and workshops.  There will be a fee attached to these classes and workshops, dependent upon teachers’ charges and materials used. Members receive a reduced fee on the registrations for the workshops and some classes.

Member Benefits – Contest

Another opportunity for members only is to participate with weaving and spinning entries in the Riverside County Fair. Cash prizes for winners in the weaving and spinning division have been approved by the DWS Board of Directors. Dates for online entries are posted in Dec and the Fair is open for 10 days in February.

Membership Details

We welcome guests for a one-time attendance and after that, we hope you will become a member. We have an annual membership fee of $40.00 payable by December 31. By-Laws, Workshop Guidelines, and a Membership List will be sent to all new members via e-mail once you have become a member in good standing of Desert Weavers and Spinners.
