Who We Are & Where We Meet
We are a group of weavers, spinners, felters, and dyers. We meet on the fourth Monday of each month with the exception of December and when the fourth Monday falls on a holiday. We hold hybrid meetings in person and on Zoom. Meetings start at 9:30 am. The in-person meetings are held at:

What We Offer
We offer monthly programs after our business meetings. Several times a year, we offer classes and workshops. There will be a fee attached to these classes and workshops, dependent upon teachers’ charges and materials used. Members receive a reduced fee on the registrations for the workshops and some classes.
Member Benefits – Contest
Another opportunity for members only is to participate with weaving and spinning entries in the Riverside County Fair. Cash prizes for winners in the weaving and spinning division have been approved by the DWS Board of Directors. Dates for online entries are posted in Dec and the Fair is open for 10 days in February.
Membership Details
We welcome prospective members to attend an introductory meeting at no charge. After that, we hope you will join us. We have an annual membership fee of $40.00 payable by December 31. For those who want to attend a specific program without becoming a member, you may do so for $10. Email desertweaversandspinners@gmail.com with your information and whether you intend to join in person or by Zoom and we will make payment arrangements.

Guild By-laws, Workshop Guidelines, and a Membership List will be sent to all new members via e-mail once you have become a member in good standing of Desert Weavers and Spinners.
