Learn to mix colored fibers and “paint” with a needle, and how to apply yarn and embellishment textures. Make a reference sampler on both felt and silk to experience both sturdy and delicate foundations. Materials kit includes felting needles and foam board to keep for your own projects.

Instructor: Carol Listenberger works in a variety of fiber media—knitting, crochet, jewelry and doll making—on which she applies needle felted surface design. Carol will have pieces to examine as she explains the embellishment techniques she uses in her mixed media objects.
