Based in the Coachella Valley including the Greater Palm Springs area and beyond, Desert Weavers and Spinners Guild (DWS) aims to foster and expand interest in hand-weaving, spinning, felting and all fiber arts. To this end, the Guild offers programs, workshops and events that inform, educate and stimulate makers in the fiber arts. Members openly explore and study together; we take great pleasure in sharing what we know, learning from one another, participating in community events and encouraging others to share our love of the fiber arts. All are welcome.

General Meetings
Typically held on the 4th Monday of the month, except in May and December.
Meetings start at 9:30 am on zoom and in-person at the Demuth Community Center

Monthly meetings begin with a presentation or lecture on weaving or other fiber arts topic, followed by guild business, show & share, and other agenda items.

In-person workshops take place several times a year on a variety of topics of interest to guild members. Workshops are limited in size, requiring registration and payment of a fee.
